About Us

SheCanEngineer began in 2016 as a non-profit volunteer-led Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiative based in London, UK.

Now as a registered charity, we are still bringing together volunteers from across the Professional Engineering Institutions (and beyond), reaching wider audiences through our events, awareness campaigns and virtual engagement.

Historically, our work has centred around International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) - with events celebrating professional engineers, and STEM outreach initiatives designed to inspire the next generation.
